Is it necessary to put ELFs into different partitions?
Is it necessary to put ELFs into different partitions? –
As title. I put some ELFs (SMS, PGEN, Snes-Station, DMS Format Tools etc) in SAME partition via ExecFTP and sucessfuly run PGEN by uLaunchELF. However after I restart my PS2. uLanuchELF seems not able to mount the HDD again.... It shows "failed" when start the ELFs and I can't start the ELFs in this partition again. I can only start the hdd:__boot/boot.elf which is a HDL. (I am using M.I. modchip)
Even I start the ExecFTP in the MC, it cannot show the content of /mc/0 and /hdd/0...... I tried the PS2NET of uLaunchELF and no luck. It said "No disk" and the ps2ftpd did not started.
I donno what's going on and what caused this problem.... I guess that may because the partition still mounted to /pfs/0/ when running PGEN. I then switch off PS2 and the partition has not unmount correctly. Is that the reason? If yes, how could I unmount the partition for such case?
My description may a bit messy. Thanks for kindly help.
I just figure out this may not related to HDD.
Even I remove the HDD from the NA, this issue remains.
Would administrator pls move this thread to a appropriate board?
