My HDD just died or something, I need help!

So, I was installing Smackdown vs Raw 2006 from the disc in my PS2 to HDLoader on my Maxtor 300 GB hard drive. It froze at 52%. So, I reset my PS2. When HDLoader loaded up, like 70 of the 83 games I had on there was gone and the ones on there didn't work and it said 279 gigs out of 279 gigs free.

Is there ANY WAY I can restore everything to how it was? I know there are some HD repair tools, but I don't know who to send the information to. Somebody help. please.

i waz gonna say it waz the kame version of the game you were installing that has a virus from sony which crashed
