Is my HDD going to die?

I recently playing zenosaga 3, which by all reports say no probs with HDL.

my game seems to take a long time to load randomly. it would stay in black screen, or the cutscenes would stutter. hdd seems to seek heavily as the light shone bright.

the occurance is minimal but it froze on me on a scene, i had reset a few times to make that work.

i had about 5gig left on my hdd. but winhiip say 3.5gig of that is fragmented.

i think a defrag may save my day?
