My Comp wont pick up the hard drive.

Heres the problem my hd boots up on my ps2. i have games my bro put in there. But when i take it out of my ps2. and use my USB 2.0 Hard Drive kit to add games. I open Winhiip and handiness it says no ps2 hard drive found. Heres the weied thing when i connect my older comp it finds the ps2 hard drive using winhiip. Can anyone give me a tip on how to get it to find the hard drive. Please. Do i have to be administrator or comp because im just a power user. Someone please Help Me. Thanks to All that Help me out.

Are you sure the ports on your PC side are usb 2.0? Some devices (usb drive kits) won't work properly with usb 1.1 ports

I Figured it out it didnt let me use it because i am not administrator of the comp. Thanks tho man.
