From where the first Bass hacked HDLoader.elf came out, there comes out another 3 version of Bass hacked HDLoader.elf.
    Namely,
    Bass hacked HDLoader (LBA48-ns)
    Bass hacked HDLoader (LBA48)
    Bass hacked HDLoader (std)

so will they be the same with the first 'nothing new in it' version?

From what I've read, you've to flatten DVD9 games and rebuild it.The first hacked he released was a failure.I tested it.Crazyc's recent patch is the best so far for me.Don't need to flatten and rebuild any DVD9 games.

After doing some reading, I'm pretty sure that this latest "release" is just a complete rip of crazyc's patched version. The funny part is, if you look on the site it was released on, nobody is able to get it working. I assume it is becuase they are not using the patched version of hdldump to upload the dual layer games. I noticed somebody posted on that particular site that crazyc from ps2-scene already had posted a fix like this so hopefully people will come here and see how the real fix works.

im only interested in it as i want to know increased compatibility outside double layer, so if a few more games work then somhow we can add greater compatibility overall - ??

ie the snooker series never works 2004, 2005 etc

As far as I know, the only HDL variants which allow Soul Calibur II to work (without patching the game) are ToxicOS (mod-chip specific) and HDLoader with the Toxic patch by Zero-X, giving it the Toxic core v0.2.

    Best regards: dlanor
