after u install a game.... gohighlight the title of the game in HDloader and press select and play with the different modes.... its always good to restart the ps2 after you insall games.... mine tends to skip a little if i play right after an install...

modded with 2 windows and painted white.
    ps2 , V4 , unmodded. (SOLD )

currently using , infinity manager ,hdd utility tools so i can save games to HD via the brower ,HDloader ,
ps2menu-k w/ 160GB HD, and networked to PC for game transfers , and media player. damn i love my set up , thanks for the install THINKDIFF <done bussiness with him twice so far and the Mod installs are perfect. (highly recommend if your in NY)

    Projects:
1.modded memory card with big ass blue LED: done

    On restarting PS2 with HDLoader:
It's even more important to restart between installing several games.
A game that installs perfectly with restarted PS2 might fail completely
if you were to attempt installing it directly after installing another game.

Apparently HDLoader doesn't completely reinitialize all variable storage
between installations, in the same way a new restart will do.

This is one (of several) good reasons why you should test each game
installed by HDLoader before proceeding to install another.

a technical question: what exactly are the modes? I mean what are they doing. Are they different exploits or something?

For some reason my modified Ps2 doesn't work with a downloaded Hdloader and Hdadvance. I even tried memory card exploit and nothing seems to work. I bought another ps2 at Walmart (returning it ofcourse) just to check it out and guess what it worked. I wasted about 10 or more cds on this. So I suggest for those who have similar problems I say just buy the original Hdloader.
