Memory card saves to Hdd

I just got hdloader, a network adapter, and an 80 gig harddrive. I have been searching the net and forums everywhere but I can't find a simple answer to this question: how can I save files from the memory card to the hdd and vice versa without modding my PS2 in any way (chips, flip tops, or using Swap discs)? In other words, how can I do this without purchasing anything else? Any detailed (laymens terms) info on what programs to download, where exactly to get them, and explanations on how to use them would be greatly appreciated.
