mc exploit.. options

ok i just got this mc exploit figured out, so it boots into ps2menu, then i hit r1 to choose the memory card to pull up hdl or whatever .elf i have on there of my choice..

Now i was wonderin, with the boot.elf originally on there as the exploit, can i somehow have it to boot directly into hdl or hda/toxic or whatever without hacing to go thru the process of ps2menu?

Yeah just redo the exploit and rename your hdl boot.elf.

Umm, that won't work. hdl usually will NOT directly load as boot.elf! You have to have a special version of the exploit. look for the "patched titile.db" if you want to try. but personally, i think it's bettter to launch to an elf launcher, liek launch elf, which you cna use to copy new versions from usb thumb drives.

also having as few apps on the MC help..... I have only launch elf and EXEcFTP (for emergencies)..... the rest of my apps load from the HDD

Fap link server, HDLoader, HDL.7c, all my Emus, MC manager, PS2OS and geotron (which is very adictive - high score 218,000).

if you're only using the exploit for hdloader, you should just use the tinyloader. it's only like 30k, you rename hdloader to BOOT2.ELF. and it pops up pretty quickly.

right here. just rename hdloader.elf to "BOOT2.ELF"

and keep this as BOOT.ELF
