MC Exploit & 48-Bit Patch On Unmodded

i have a unmodded ps2 with a maxtor 160 and hdloader.

now is there a way for me to do the memory card exploit with unmodded ps2?

and what about applying the 48-bit without a modchip.
i noe i can reformat the hd in my pc and format it as 48-bit,
but then i wont be able to add my original dvds str8 into the hd.

any help will do.
