I have created a new partition usimg DMS tools and in it I put random files including roms and some elfs for ELFLaunch (and PS2OS). But my problem is I can not FTP into it. If I want to put anything into the new folder I have to use HD Dump. When I use exectFTP to look onto the hdd it shows the partition but it will not let me browse into it and add new files. So how can I FTP into these new partitions and remove/add files? I can HD Dump into it..but not even PS2OS lets me browse in it. Thanks
    check out my tutorial at:

Tutorial includes: MC exploit, ExectFTP, FAPLink, KeyLauncher, HDD parititions, LaunchELF, 48bit patching, skinning HDL/HDA

Message me for any additions you would like to see on the tutorial.

    hello
this is the dumb thing about the ftp client, or could be the ps2 file system.
to view a partition it needs to first be "mounted", progs like ps2menu do this automatically.
with execftp, you need to send a command to the ps2 to "mount" your selected partition.
heres some thing i wrote earlier:
    -----
how to mount a ps2 partition in flashxp for ftp use
right click the ps2 partition you want to mount in the HDD/0/ folder
and go to commands menu then raw commands
    and paste this in
SITE MNT /pfs/0/ hdd:(FULL PARTITION NAME)
remove the brackets and enter the full partition name ie: __boot or __PS2MENU-K , etc

then go back to the starting folder and go to PSF folder then the 0 folder and you should see the files inside the mounted partition. now you can transfer files

    -------
one thing to note, when u view the HDD/0/ folder, all the files there represent PS2 HDD partitions, just to let you know :)

And here is the command to unmount a partition

    ''SITE UMNT /pfs/0/''
