Make a HDD ISO with Nero?
Hi, I've got a question. I was wondering if it were possible to take the files off of a DVD (using IsoBuster, or just copying them to the computer HDD), and use Nero or some other DVD Image making program to make an image for use on the PS2 using HDL. Normally I just use CDGenPS2 to remake a ps2 dvd image, but I wasn't sure if a files physical placement in the image (whether it's the first file written, 5th, 20th, whatever) matters. I know with programs like Nero, they generally write the files in some random order known only to it.
(BTW, I'm just using Nero as an example. I know it only writes .NRG files, and not true .iso files.)
That question just popped in my head as I was shrinking the latest Lego Star Wars 2 game (NTSC). I figured, since it has a false LBA, and has a padding file "ZZZ_DVD.DAT", that instead of using CDGenPS2 to create the new image, maybe using something else would be easier.
Thanks for any info.
