thanks for your reply... i didnt erase the second layer the problem is the second layer is three files in a folder called data and the first layer has a folder called data, so basically those three files end up in the original data folder, thus causing the game to freeze. you cant have two data folders within the build so im wondering if anyone figured it out. and i was actually looking forward to some of the features

If the filenames in the DATA folder have different filenames, you should be able to just copy the files from the second layer's DATA folder into the first.

interesting.. i have this game on my hdd as well..

i've noticed whenever i attempt to acess the special features on the disc it freezes.. or whenever i try to play the philadelphia eagles..

i thought it was because it was trying to boot another elf file from the disc and then freezing.. kind of like the demo debacle..

are you guys able to play the philadelphia eagles without freezing?

i've also noticed sometimes whenever you're in midgame and try to check the drive summary the game will freeze.. well not exactly freeze, but it doesnt display the drive summary, but you cant exit the menu..

i tried that and put the files at the end of the list when sorting just as tutorials tell you to do. it doesnt work....

sorry to the moderators for my original post in this forum i thought it made a difference when talking about the game not having ripped it from its original disc cause i dont have an adequate dvd rom drive
