Loading ROMS onto HDD –
i was wondering how to load roms onto your hdd. i am using hdloader, winhiip, and a regular ps2. i am new to the hdd thing i dont know much. could anyone help me out?
Try execftps, it's an ftp server for your ps2. This will allow you to ftp the roms directly to your ps2 hdd. First make sure you have a partition for the games on the hdd. If you are using pgen, I think it does this for you automatically, but I really can't be sure anymore. If you need some help on getting your ps2 networked, try http://ps2.lookatthemonkeys.com. Very good site and very useful information.
i have read through this stuff and it seems you need a mod chip or swap magic to load cd-r's. i have neither. is their a way i can just put roms on my hdd from my pc without loading a cd-r on the ps2 to play the games?
