If you read the read me in EXECFTPS v.68, it is possible to run this ELF from the HD and MC . If I run it from the HD, Flashfxp does not see the HD and I can't mount it. Only when I run this from the MC I able to see the HD and mount it. Am I missing something?

    TheCaffeinated1:
I can run ExecFTPs from HDD and use it to access both HDD and MC, both being visible in the FTP client on the PC (normally FlashFXP).

One possible reason for failure is if you launch ExecFTPs via HDLoader, which can lock up the HDD (sort of...) for use as HDLoader's 'simulated CD/DVD'. Some programs can recover HDD access in such situations, while others can't, and I think ExecFTPs is one of the latter.

The proper way to boot homebrew apps (like ExecFTPs) from HDD is to store them as ELF files in some folder on a normal (non-HDLoader) HDD partition. Such apps can then be launched by various boot-menu programs (LaunchELF, PS2Menu-K, etc), and they in turn are best launched at startup by either the MC exploit, or by Dev1 booting (if you have a mod-chip that supports this). And of course, it is from such a boot menu that you can also choose to run HDLoader, when it is stored as an ELF the same way as homebrew apps.

    Best regards: dlanor

    TheCaffeinated1, if you use *** HDD Explorer 1.2, it's a known bug.
Either launch Execftp from MC or switch back to HDD Explorer 1.1 if you really want to boot Execftp from the HDD.
    Later,

    Alcahest

Wait... you can get files on the MC... right... then use it to transfer Launch Elf to the MC... then boot launch elf and make a directory on the HDD for your apps and copy EXEcFTP over with it's config file...
