Laser busted. HDloader won't boot. What now ?

You could buy a new laser, or ftp/pendrive hdloader to the mc.

You mean no games will boot? Or just HD Loader?

When I put HDloader in cd drive, I get the logo...
then everyting stops... (nothing more happens)

Also had the problem with other games too..they won't load of originale cds.

SHadoph; I can use ftp program, sure.. I know how to make mc/0/FAPLINK etc.. but how can I get it to load ??

Please search on how to boot with MC with compatible Modchips.

With no disk reading capability, the only way to do this is with a modchip that allows you to boot from memory card.

Try out my laser repair guide. Go to www.mullets123.tk and enter the site then click on "Console Repair Guides" and u should be able to figure it out from there.

So, I need a chip to boot from mc.. I see... Is this the DMS3 chip ?

Is there anything I have to upload or change in the DMS3 chip ?
Or can I just ftp the programs over to /mc/0/hdloader... and then restart the PS2, and hdloader will boot - right/wrong ?
