It's a 3.5" you want. I don't think a 2.5" would fit without some kind of adapter. Not all drives work though. Here is a list:

Yes, but of course you must have an MC inserted on PowerOn/Reset to use this (same applies to DEV.1).
That's equal. You could use either of both and then replace the ELF, which gets installed with OPL.Quote:
right correct me if im wrong here.the next thing i need to do is..
get a hdd,
install:
DEV2 Install HDL 28-Bit Hdd For Ps2 Versions 9-11
or
DEV2 Install HDL 48-Bit Hdd For Ps2 Versions 9-11
The newest OPL 0.8 features a lot of stuff and is only a few days old/released...
You can do it that way, but you can also do it through LAN.Quote:
back up my games eg with dvd decrypter and connect up to computer and transfer them over
OPL 0.8 even has a server for it integrated.
Nope, no special patching is done.Quote:
(do i need to patch them to work on hddd??)
There are special patches available, to make it compatible with HDL, but OPL is intended to run non-patched/'clean' images.
Yes. But if you configure your chip to auto-start the ELF, you don't even need to hold any button on start-up.Quote:
hold "L1" and turn on ps2,then select my game
should that be all?
thanks
