Use the rip kit on the original disc. I believe the rip kit is avaiable and created by ps2ownz, but I could be wrong. I also haven't tryed it, so I don't know if it actually works or not.

umm . . . I really doubt that. I'm pretty sure it's playably with hdl/hda as with all other dvd9 games except for gt4. GT4 is made by sony so of course they would put in all kind of protection. If you have the game which I don't and probably won't get. Why don't you just try the usual method for putting a dvd9 game on the hdd. I"m sure it'll work. Just my two cents.

i CURENTLY put two DVD-9s on my hard drive loader ONE Xenosaga I it boots but when you start the game the screen is black? TWO Kessen III and it doesnt even boot it just shows black

All of these ISO's were made from oringals threw my PLEXTOR 716A DVD BURNER and transfered over VIA IDE Cable

Any Ideas why they dont work? I guess I will have to rip Kessen III but any ideas on Xenosaga?

It's been discussed before, you can search for it. You need to rip the iso from the DVD, use Apache to split the layers. Create new IML and such files and then rebuild the ISO with Sony CD/DVD Generator. Then transfer the iso over to your HDD. That's the jist, just search for the specifics.
    Equipment Specs:
    V7 PS2 Messiah 2 Pro Mod / Seagate 200GB 7200 RPM HDD
    Ext HDD Mod
Works Like a Charm! Already filled up all 183 gb!

after rebuilding the ISO it went from 8 gig to 5 gig and after putting it on the hard drive it looks like somethings going to boot the screen flashes and then its blackness from there on..

Althoug Xenosaga WORKS like a champ..
