I am a noob, and I was browsing the ******* site (I am NOT a member, at first because they don't accept public domain emails, and more recently because that pissed me off, alot) and saw a link that said entitled PS1 id grabber which is a .elf and I have no idea what it does.
I was hoping I could put psx games on my hdd since I am a huge RPG fan, and recently dusted off my collection to replay.
Can I put ps1/psx games on my hdd?
note: I know there was another thread similar to this, but it ended some time ago, inconclusively. I was curious if anyone could tell me if there was anything new to get my hopes up for, or if psx games and the hdd are a lost cause.
thanks, sorry if this is stupid.

It grabs the slus or sles number off of a ps1 disc to be used for the memory card exploit.
