Jap SCPH-15000 + PCMCIA HD + HDLoader, will it work

I have an older Japanese SCPH 15000 sitting around. It has the PCMCIA slot in the back. I was wondering has anyone used a PCMCIA HD to load HDLoader on? I have an opportunity to get one for a good price.

There was a Japanese version of HDLoader released with V0 support..it might be on the news forum archives. I think DaBrass posted it.
