Jak 3: Another game that doesn't work with HDoader/hdadvance

I feel like the hd scene is over with , so far this is the second game that does not work with hdadvance and none of the modes help. I think the future is grim for other games like MGS:Snake Eater and Goldeneye 2 and so on.

Many new games out support hdloader.Just because it doesnt work off the hdd, doesnt mean that this was intentional.Just have to see when they come out.

Isn't Jak 3 a dual layer? Aren't you supposed to extract both layers and make a single layer iso?..

Oh no, a game we actually have to buy? Where are all the good developers that just give out their work for free instead of asking for money for their laborious love?? Oh....they're all here. Some games will work, others won't. Simple as that.

Jak 3 isn't dual layer.

The way that HDLoader hijacks the Network Adapter to get access to the HDD is never gonna be 100%. It only needs a game to do something that messes with that or is effected by it and it will fail. Remember theres an aweful lot of way way old games that won't work either.

I doubt coders are actively bothering to block HDLoaders use as its proberbly more hassle than its worth to them.

Are you implying there aren't any owners of a store bought copy of Jak 3 that would just prefer to run it off the HD

Well I think those who ahve it should post a screenie of the iso in iso buster or apache, and the contents of the system.cnf. What I think they did is the same thing with SW abtlefront.
