Internal?

I have been looking into buying a hard drive and would like to know what one works the best for the original thick PS2. Also are they all external? I have heard that they are but thought they could be internal aswell. Hope someone is willing to help out a newbie. thanks

The hdd slot on the ps2 only takes internal hd's. You plug it in to the network adapter and put it in the back of the ps2 hence the name internal. Read the tuorials before you ask sometimes the answers are there!
