Hi!, I'm having issues with HDL .8c...it says I still have 14GB (Even in ULelf HDD manager) however It won't allow me to install any more games and instead it gives me a message saying insuficient disk space. WTF?!

I'm guessing It was caused by a corrupted HDL install because I had problems installing one game (because it was full of god damn read errors), I decided to hit the backswitch of my ps2 to shut it off, then I powered it back on. When I tried booting DMS HD format utility (Like I usually do, when I get an incomplete install of HDL) It gave me a fatal error, unable to load HD file list or something. *This was a first*

This was the first time I had an issue like this. I could still play the installed games, It's just that I couldn't add any more games, any help would be surelly appreciated!

    Thanks!

HDLoader doesn't know how to properly read free space, it's a known issue. This is why I never use it to install or remove games, I just use WinHIIP. Also, you should never use HDLoader to install games and then use another program like HDL_Dump or WinHIIP afterwards, this will result in problems reading games as far as I know.

WinHIIP doesn't properly use fragmented space on my HDD but HDL_Dump does so thats what I use.

Not true, I install games with HDL, and Winhiip, and all my games work fine.

Well that's good to know. I've seen a few different comments in these forums from people pretty sure about this not working properly, nobody ever corrected them on it so I thought it was true. I guess I'll never really know for sure until I experience issues myself. I've been trying to avoid anything like this at all costs, cause I don't want to redo my 300GB all over again. Thanks for the info.
