Since I've never installed a DVD9 game before(and I've read before that there are some conditions about installing DVD9 games),is this the correct way.

I ripped the game(GT4)using ImgBurn(5,27GB)and install it using WinHIIP.I had plenty of free space and no fragments at all but after the installation 1.13gb of fragments ware created.

Yes and it works but for example Rogue Galaxy works too till you reach the end of chapter 7 and then the game will stop if you don't make the DVD9 to DVD5 correctly or not install the DVD9 version correctly.

I think that everything is ok because the second layer of GT4 contains the videos and they are working but I'm just asking to be sure, because this is my first time

I wonder if the toxic patcher should be applied to these images, although i think it only applies to games that are going to be burned.

The "Toxic Patcher" is only required for dual-layer burned games. It is unneeded for HDLoader; for use in HDLoader you just install the game image with WinHIIP and nothing more is needed for it to work.

I think, that you need to turn off the option to defragment space, while you install a DVD9-Game.

I've never disabled the "Reduce fragmentation" option and haven't had any issues with DVD9 games.
