I'm pretty sure the patched HD Loader will pick up the extra space without the need to format, just keep using the patched one.

ie. Dont swap between the patched and nonpatched HD Loader after using the patched one

    Uh Oh!
What happens if I do switch "accidently"?
Games seem to still be working fine.

If you try to execute the old HDL after allocating full space with the patched one, the old one will get stuck while loading, meaning you'll never be able to reach the menu with the old one anymore.
