i am in an unknown land –
hello all, i want to either hook up a external hdd to my playstation and play games from it (which would be ideal) or hook up an internal drive in the ps2 and be able to play games from, please have mercy on me and keep the noob prejudice in check please, help me, thanks
Well, what type of ps2 do you have? slim or fatty?
any modifications done to it?
for external drives you use usbxtreme which isn't as compatible then using an internal harddrive with hdloader//hdadvance//dmsloader.
You've also put your post in the IDE HDD section - IDE means internal. It should be in USB HDD.
i am sorry for not doing everything right, please forgive me, to answer i have a fat ps2 with a network adapter attached with no hacks, nothing done but playing games with it through ps2 games, help me hack
Well, you are going to require a Hard Drive (Maxtor, Seagate) that fits in your network adapter and you can either buy the HDL/HDA disc online or set up and exploit with your memory card. If you are still confused come back for more help.
