How2recover lost Gb after HDLoader install error
How2recover lost Gb after HDLoader install error –

I was installing Tiger Woods 05 to the HDD using HDLoader when an error reading the disc occurred so i cancelled the install at the prompt. Now i have 3Gb missing from the HDD but i can't see the failed install game to remove and clear it. Surely there must be an easy way to clear failed installs. Can HDloader refresh and delete this missing file or do i need to use Winhiip or some other networking software to access the missing file from the HDD.
Thanx for any help.

i've never had this happen to me, but yeah. if were you i'd use winhiip or hdl_dump to view the partitions. you should see your failed install if it is indeed taking up space according to your hdl. then just delete it from one of those tools. if you don't see it (which would be very strange) i would try winhiip and make sure the defrag option is set and then install the game. that way it'll use up any in between free hdd space available.
that's what i'd try if i were you.

DMS HDD Explorer can also get rid of failed installs which are not listed in the HDL/HDA game list.
