I want to use the cd boot of HD Loader but it's not patched. I have it all set up and patched on my MC but in order to use CodeBreaker codes I would actually have to boot up the HDL disc when asked to "Insert game in tray." How would I go about doing this? The cd copy of HD Loader that I have is the ***O*NZ version and I ran that through IsoBuster but no hdloader.elf can be seen. Anyone got a solution to this? Any help would be appreciated. THANKS!

the elf file is there, its put down as SLUS.44.302 or somehing you have to rename it, and put .elf at the end, but make sure you change it back when you are finished

you have to change it to hdl or hda with .elf at the end, and use the unpacker to unpack it

I would like to know the answer as well since I am having the same problem. This is what I did. I extract the SLUS**** file from the HDL ISO. I renamed it to boot.elf. Then I use ps2-unpacker and try to unpack the boot.elf. It gave me an error "out of range memory read". I am using win XP sp2. Does Pixel know the problem with it?

    Thanks.

I found out the solution to properly un-pack the SLUS**** file (around 8 mb). It might be helpful to other people in this forum as well. First, rename the SLUS file or packed elf to "anyname.elf". Then use sjuncrunch to unpack the elf. Now, the unpacked elf can be patched by Zero-X fixes. You can also use HDL AIO tool to patch the elf. Thank you these guys for the great programs.

    Here is sjuncrunch program.

    Nevermind...
I´ve used the HDL-Edit V0.3b to unpack the .ELF file!
Renamed the SLUS_203.44 to Hdloader.elf, and putted in the unzipped HDL-Edit Folder.
    It worked!
