how to get files to ur mc/hd without using ftp or cd-r

The topic line says so, yes. But if you reread the first post you will find that this was for the specific purpose of transferring a config file for ExecFTPs, so as to make the FTP server work properly. So that was the purpose for which this thread was started, regardless of what the topic line says.

This made it on-topic to describe other things than the config file which might have caused the problems.

ok i got myself a ps2os iso that i transfered using faplink, whcih works after a few headaches from changing the ip addresses. but now this program keeps freezing. ahh this is frustrating, i know its an alpha release but some shit should work

Has anyone tried accessing the memory card and installing the exploit using a usb extension cable that went from pc usb to ps2 usb? or is that just too easy? Or how about installing just anything using a usb cable??

Well cd katt If I had a codebreaker could I compile the files needed and save them to a pen drive under BADATA-SYSTEM.cbs which is that format and then transfered the file over to the MC would that in theory work with the PS1 game to trigger the exploit?

I have a similar issue. I've got a newtwork adapter but haven't opened FTP. I've got a PS2LINKER for the memory card so I can drop thing onto the MC but I don't know what to drop. I have the exploit on a CDR but have no swap disk I know of other then my gameshark cd.. how can I get the files I need onto the MC? and if you're feeling kind, how can I open the FTP and HDD.. can someone point mei n the right direction. Thanks!

adam31 - I don't have a sharkport I have a EMS PS2 Memory Adapter.

It only works with *.psu or *.pso files not XPS etc etc.. yet the converter won't convert what I need.

ÇÐ~kÂ?? - Even if it did work, I wouldnt know what to put on the MC from that point.. The CDR swap trick would do it for you.. So I'm lost.

nevermind, the codebreaker theory worked..got the save from somewhere but i don't know how they compiled it. I want to redo it now because it has ps2menu which does not support usb and i need the usb support.
