  1. #1 How do i transfer games to the hdd directly from my pc

How do I transfer the .iso files i have directly to the harddrive? The harddrive is connected to the computer. Some people told me to use HDL_dump or something, but the "Locally connected Playstation 2 HDD" is grayed out and unselectable. The ps2 harddrive is a 40gig maxtor one, and i set it as a slave drive whenever i connected it to my computer.

Sorry for these newbish questions, I'm new to these forums and HD Loader and stuff.

    Thanks in advance.

win 98 uses fat32 and the ps2 needs ntfs to run so you wont be able to run winhiip on windows 98, as far as I know

xp will give you the option to convert your pc to ntfs at the beginning of the install, on the same blue page that let's you format the hd if you want. ntfs runs a lot more smoothly than fat32. there's lot's more errors when running on a fat32 system.
