hi,I was wondering how do i create a folder on the harddrive and move my elf files there.cheerrs
PS2OS. Make a partition and move all elfs onto it.
no dont use ps2os unless you want a big headache and frustration enough to smash your controller against the wall. i recommend making partition using hdd tool then using ftp to move all your elfs to hdd partition.
Well I use LaunchELF to copy from MC to HD, R1 copy and paste! Just that easy.
thanks ill try this today cheers
Hi!
I use ExecFTPs in PS2 and FlashFXP in PC
I can manage MC and HDD correctly
I made a partition in hdd with HDD Formal (DMS tool)
But I cant upload files to that partition with FlashFXP...or at least I dont know how to do it XD
Please help xD
whatever you named that partition that will be the key in this command in flashfxp:
SITE MNT /pfs/0/ hdd:+"NAME" where NAME is your partition name. then you can access the hdd through pfs.
well i made a partion and folder with ps2os but could not figure out how to set destination for copy ,so i gave that a miss then i tried to ftp to the harddrive using execftp and total commander and the partion and was seen but not correctly(i think it was seen as a file) and i could not click into it to access the folder .in the end i used ps2menu to copy them with but what i would really like to know ,should i have been able to ftp the files there?
YOU DON'T (e-cuse me)
Forget about ps2os; grab the latest version of luanchkey.
If you run games on ps2 hard drive then use this folder located in HDD Module "HDLoader Setting"
use FileBrowser, the new luanchELF function
for me i created a folder inside that folder and stored my ELFs
this is what it looks like
no extra ELF needed for this method. you're basically using what you already have. no extra partition to eat up your space either.Path: hdd0:/HDLoader Setting/PS2 APP/
..
HDA2.0.ELF
HDLOADER.ELF
SNES_STATION.ELF
Dont know if you tryed it yet or not.. But ya go with LaunchElF.. Theres a new version floating around on the forums here (Version 3.4).. That program is the easyest way to transfer elfs from a memory card, Pendrive and CD.. Plus PS2-Menu is pretty good to.. But it doesnt have USB support yet..
