I edited my last post with more info.
download both the Noobie package and the HDL from my last post.
unrar both and put the HDL ELF into the INSTALL folder of the noobie package.
Put the noobie package on a USB stick and then put it in your PS2, run uLaunchELF
from uLaunchELF, press O for the FileBrowser, choose mass:, then choose the FREE_MCBOOT.ELF and press O on it.
Now you should see the FMCB Installer screen.

If you dont have anything on the MC you care about, select the Format option to wipe it clean. If you have another mC, its best to use that for the install, just incase something goes wrong, so you still have FMCB to use.
Then choose the Normal Install if you only have 1 PS2 you plan to use it with or Multi if you have other PS2's that are different models.
Once the Install is successful, choose the FMCB configurator and we can assign that HDL to the menu.
I'll wait til its installed before continuing, as not to consfuse you. :p
Ok, so your option is to make a complete new MC ?
I am scared to overwrite my current FMCB card...
Is it possible to remove the current MC after launching the FMCB installer and put a new blank card in the ps2 ?
Well i have to go and cant hang out here any longer, so heres the basics of what you need to do to put HDL in the Menu screen:
Run the FMCB Configurator
Once the configurator is running, choose which button you want to use for the 'OK" button, either X or O and then the main menu appears
Now scroll down to Configure OSD options. . . and press the OK button
-in the next screen put the pointer to Configure Item 1 and press the right directional pad button to go to the next empty 'slot', so you dont over write any current items in the menu now.
-Press the Ok button on the empty slot and a new screen appears for you to input a Name. Press the OK button to open the 'keyboard' .
-Type in HD Loader (or whatever you want ) and then scroll down to the Paths. The first Path (path1) is the first place FMCB looks for the file and lists it in the menu if found there, so just choose that and a new screen opens (just like the uLaunchELF Filebrowser) where you can choose where the HDL.ELF is at. It should be in the MC's BOOT folder, so go there and select it.
-Next choose return, then choose return again in the screen after it
-Now scroll down to save it to the MC slot your MC is in and at the top in red it will confirm it saved to that location.
-Next just choose PS2 Browser (FMCB restart) and you should now see the HDL listed in the FMCB menu. :)
If you need more info, just read the Configurator Guide. :)
You guys are great.
I have to talk with my kids witch MC i can use and i make a new FMCB.
I'll let you know later.
Later !
The HDL game installer is crap use Kermit instead, HDL is also next to useless for installing cds.
It's a shame the code for Kermit's installer can't be put into OPL, but I guess they don't want use wearing our cdvd drives out.
