  1. #1 How to change compatibility modes?
    FiGGaH Guest
I am trying to get Resident Evil: Outbreak to work with my purchased version of HDLoader. I tried using HDLoader to put the game on the HD and also TheDecline's HDL_Dump. When I try to load it it hangs at the "Loading" screen.
I've seen references to setting compatibility modes, but I searched and couldn't find any references on how to accomplish this task.

Do I need a modchip to do this? If so, is there any hope of getting the game to work without a modchip?

I have a V7 if that makes any difference. I can get other games to work, but not RE: Outbreak so far.

    Thanks!

Compatibility flags are accessed by pressing the [Select] button while game name is focused. Enable/disable desired flags (with an [X]) and press [Select] again to hide the window. Finally, press [X] to start the game, but I suppose you've already know that :-)

I think, that WinHIIP could change compatibility flags from within Windowz.

Sweet! Thank you! I'm so glad that it can be accessed without any hardware modifications!

I haven't looked at WinHIIP yet, but thanks for the reference. I'll look it up.

    Thanks again!
