Sorry, but NO WAY!Originally Posted by Valholy
The only way to get any game translated from japanese is for one or more human translator(s) to invest literally HUNDREDS of hours of hard work to do the job. The end result would need to be patched onto the the ISO of each translated game, as it would need to include changes to lots of the files on such a game disc. Making some kind of generic patch to handle such translations is not possible today, and not likely to become so within the next century either. Human brains are needed for this sort of thing, and that's not likely to change any time soon.

i think thats why games like final fantasy gets released A YEAR after the release in japan..

and often data files on a disc are encrypted into a big munge file which can be sometimes very hard to extract the necessary files from and since there is no ps2 emulator (no decent one at least) you cant test your patched iso file on it so you would have to burn a dvd each time to try out (or use a hdd if the game is compatible)
damn,i guess ill have to keep playing naruto 2 in japanese, thanks to everybody

thanks for all the help, ill need to search for the translation for naruto if i want to find it :P
I've occasionally seen textfile scripts on the 'net for various Jap games. Especially RPG and Mech games. Why not? Actually, in Korea, translations of Jap games come out quite quickly... in the form of comics and other books. One of my students claimed to have played Final Fantasy X using the Japanese version and a Korean guidebook... said he did it to study Japanese.
i guess that that is the thing im going to do since i cant find the translation file to patch naruto
