Ive had my HD loader for about a moth with a 120 gb maxtor HD. Just the other day the hard drive started making a loud clicking noise usually associated with a hard drive going bad. My question is if I were to stick this drive into my computer using the ide cable, would my computer automatically read the drive?(if the drive is till readable) And if it did, can I use winhiip to pull all the information from the bad drive and install the information onto a new drive? Is it as simple as dragging files like in windows explorer or does it get more complicated?

    thank you

windows wouldnt exactly see it, but if you plug it in, one of the many ps2hdd pc applications should be able to see it and get the games.
