Well, I kinda need alot of help. My Network adapter arrives tomorrow together with my hdd and I'm on rock bottom. I have no clue or whatsoever how to get all of this to work. I want to be able to boot my games on the hdd because my laser is not what is was way back and it is also alot easier.

I have no bootchip. How do i install the hdloader on the hdd and how do i copy the games from my computer to the hdd?

if you have a friend with a moded ps2, just ask him for help.
he can install the ulaunchelf exploit to your memory card.
after this, you can use a usb stick for data transfer between pc and ps2.

to get some games on your hdd, you should use winhiip.

search the forum, there are all information you might need.

I did my exploit with SharkPort and used a gamesave maker that inserted uLaunchElf into a game save then transferred it to the PS2.

You may need a torx 4 bit to get the metal bracket off of your network adapter to be able to get the HDD to fit onto it. 2 PS2's that I did for friends required this.

Hmm, yes that sounds actually easy. What can I do if I don't have a friend with a modded ps2? Can't seem to find anyone I know who has a modded ps2.

Do you have access to a swap disk of some sort or cheat device?

you can also buy a retail/legit version of HDloader and go from there.

Go pick up a SharkPort (same company as gameshark) and I can guide you. It should cost you about 20 bucks.
