HDLOADER red screen?

I burnt HDLOADER.ELF according to the guide here: http://forums.psxforum.com/viewtopic.php?t=22747

but it gives me a red screen of death... any ideas?

I have a japanese ps2 SCHP 50000 (the white W32 one)
versions:

Console SCPH-50000
Browser 1.40
CD Player 2.00
PlayStations Driver 1.02
DVD Player 3.02

Try add dummy files to the HDLoader CD.... don't really care for swap magic.... I usually try to avoid it like the plague. Otherwise the HDL that you burned might not be the right type of format ie PS2 format.

Try out Hypersonic's website. It's loaded with info and such
