HDLoader Not Booting...

I just tried to install Gradius V using the MC exploit method of HDLoader, it got to the end and installed correctly, I then powered off the PS2 and started it back up again a few minutes later and now the PS2 just hangs at the screen where all of the files load for the exploit. The hard drive does spin but but seems to keep repeating itself sounding like its trying to load something and HDLoader never boots completely. I know its not the HDLoader thats the prblem because when I remove the hard drive from the PS2 it boots to the main screen and says that no hard drive is installed. What do I do? What might the problem be? And what do I need and how do I fix this without losing everything on the hard drive?

The compatability list that I found has Gradius V as not working on some PS2 models......

your best bet of fixing it is to connect the HD to you PC and use one of the utilities to delete the game... If that doesn't work you may need to wipe the drive...
