hdloader from MC with no disc seek help

What I am trying to do is accomplish the "HDLoader on V9/V10 with NO DISC in the tray " fix.What I have done is create a ISO with execftp on it loaded that image to the ps2 hard via WinHIIP then boot the image in hdloader( I have a original cd) So I can get the ftp server up and running great I can ftp to the ps2 no problems.I have created my title.db file and can boot the MC exploit from ps1 cd no problems also. I have booted with ps2menu,launch elf,and other elf files.SO I have 2 questions
1.With the No disc fix do I still need a ps1 disc to boot the MC exploit?
2.If not, what files do I need to ftp to the MC.?ANy *.irx files?cnfg?
My ps2 is a v9 with no mods.
I have also done the patch manually(packing,patching,replacking) and also tried with the gui.

The NoCD thing is just for games like Soul Calibur II, which seems to work flawlessly with it enabled.
You still need the PSX game to boot your system.
