HDLoader from Keylauncher - won't load - please help!

I've been using HDLoader which I found and installed using it's own exploit installer. I've recently decided to play around with this stuff abit (FTPing into the PS2 and such) and have decided that I want to have Keylauncher boot up instead of HDLoader. I've got this all figured out and such, but for some I can't figure out why when I try to load either HDLoader or Reality MediaPlayer from Keylaunch, they both just hang on the 'Loading from memory card...' screen. The other apps that I have setup (**** HDD Format, ExecFTPs, HDLD_SRV, etc) will all load, but these two just hang on that screen.

I think the only file I'm using for the HDLoader is 'HDLOADERLITE.ELF' and the for the mediaplayer I'm using 'ps2media.elf'. Am I missing something here? Do I have to use the original BOOT.ELF that was installed with the HDLoader exploit - but rename it (so it doesn't automatically boot instead of Keylauncher)?

Any help would be appreciated...

Keylaucher won't boot hdloader if you have a V9. Launchelf does. try that one

Thanks for the reply nounlu, but I've got a v7. Maybe I'll try LaunchElf, but if anyone know what the hell I'm doing wrong, I'd love to hear from ya - as it's bugging the hell outta me.

Ummm, pretty sure I'm booting hdloader from keylauncher just fine on my v9 just fine.

Are you only using the 'HDLOADERLITE.ELF' file for the HDLoader? Because there were a bunch of other files that I had with it - but I think they're just for installing the exploit and HDLoader onto the MC.

Here are the files I have in my MC exploit. There are a fair number of files other than .elf required for certain programs, but I'm sure that I had hldoader runing by itself in keylauncher at one point with just hdloader.elf, boot.elf, kl.dat, system.cnf, title.db

hdloader does run off keylauncher even with v9. here are the files needed:
BOOT.ELF (keylauncher.elf), KL.DAT, HDLOADER.ELF, and w/e other elfs you want. you can program inside keylauncher and navigate around the mem card to where hdloader is.

hmm,... that's exactly what I'm using and it just won't boot.

*Update* - Finally got it working... it seems as though I was using the unpacked versions of HDLoader & PS2 Reality MediaPlayer. I packed them up and voilÃ*! They both work like a charm now. Except one thing with the media player - I can't get it to recognize a dvd-r with avi files on it when the mediaplayer is booted from the MC. I'm going to do a little searching about this or post another thread if I can't find anything.

But I just wanted to let you guys know what I found and to let ya know that I got them working. Thanks again!

v9 here and it works just fine
