hdloader game saves

some of you may have noticed this, but whenever you save games via hdloader (loading games using hdloader), the save points you make/overwrite from then on will have the year 1999 labeled on them. just check in the browser. it doesnt seem like a major problem, i just thought id let you guys know.

For some games it is a major problem and the first save appears to be the last save. I think someone complains about Vice City or the original GTA3.

that happened only to one save out of my 24284 games

That is a bug with HDLoader, however none of my games seem to be affected by the date.

I can't play vice city because of that.. the save becomes corrupted and it freezes my game If I try to save a second time (when loaded with hd loader) Because of that I don't even want to try other games on the hdd

Well, there is a trick, but you will be doing this trick every single time though. After you save boot up Vice City using the disc instead of the HDD then save over it again and you should get back your date, but once you play through the HDD then the date will again be reset and you have to do the process all over again.
