hdloader.elf made easy!!!! no m/c

ok, here we go , i am preared to get asked questions but for eveyone that keeps asking about the MC exploit.... ive figured out the simplyest way ever to do this without installing the exploit to your MC... all u need is the hdloader.elf !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

open notepad and type the following:

BOOT2 = cdrom0:\HDLOADER.ELF;1
VER = 1.00
VMODE = NTSC

then save it as system.CNF

burn this notepad file with the hdloader.elf file onto a cd-r
the pop it in and it wil boot right to HDloader.

this is all you need to do....this only works if you have a mod chip!
if you dont, im not sure if the swap trick will work but it probably will, i just have not tryed it!

not to bash your guide or anything, but I am sure anyone that has a mod chip is intelligent enough to burn a cdr with hdloader on it. For anyone else that does NOT have a modchip try my walkthrough

this is the way to boot it if it doesnt boot off the memory card expolit , without installing ps2menu.... just incase u only want hdloader.... its just that people keep asking and its pretty simple.

Also just burning it to a CDR won't work on v9/v10 without fixing the elf first using Zer0-X's instructions.

This is my first day of ps2 HDD action (my laser finally gave up the ghost yesterday for dvdrs)

please say this installs hdloader into the memory card right? otherwise what is the point of this m8 ! i am sure like everyone in the world can surly find the real hdl by now and if this is for the ones who cant then why ask for a sticky , when only 000.01 percent of the people need this.
