    Hi,

HDLdumb automatically exits,m when i try to load a bin/cue image for dumping to ps2.

is there any known problem with bin/cue? (HDLDump0.8.6, Server 0.8.5)

    rgds
    Alex

PS: Same applies to, when using VTecoronas Tools, but at least an error message appears, that lets you know, that there is a problem with.

What happens if you try to convert the image?

or do a cdvd_info on the image?

    Code:
    hdl_dump cdvd_info filename.iso
is how I run it, there should also be a possibility about doing it as such:
    Code:
    hdl_dump cdvd_info filename.cue

Convert the bin\cue to an ISO file using PowerISO or a similar program.

cdvd_info and cdvd_info2 return game information. When you use this command on a game disk (optical drive) or an image file (ISO, IML, BIN\CUE) it should return the game data "CD\DVD NAME STARTUP_FILE SIZE"

    for example:

    hdl_dump cdvd_info blah.bin
    hdl_dump cdvd_info blah.cue
    hdl_dump cdvd_info e:
    hdl_dump cdvd_info cd0:

If hdl_dump returns the game information then it shouldn't have a problem installing from the file.

    thanks for your assistance,

    hdl_dump cdvd_info blah.bin did not return anything,
just goes back to root prompt.

will try to convert to ISO now.

    thanks

According to hdl_dumps webpage, cue files are supported.

    CDRWIN BIN/CUE - C:\MC.CUE;

Do you have a cue file to go along with the bin file?

hi i have the same problem the cue/bin files works fine with hldumb.0.8.2 but if i try to load the same cue/bin with hldumb0.8.6 it crashes and the ps2 needs a restart...

the solution of converting the cue/bin to iso isn't accepttable because cue/bin is official supported and it works in proir hldumbversions.

has the hldumb-developteam a forum or something to inform about bugs?
