Wrong thread but anyway...
Where do u want to install boot elf in ur slim PS2. ?
Use uLaunchELF as the boot.elf along with HDL_0.8b.ELF somewhere in a partition u made with ULE in ur HDD.
Explain also what u mean by install bootelf ?

You could try this, but first you you need to have one way to run ULE.
1.- Copy from PC to PenDrive the HDLoader, with all the necessary Patches (I used version 0.8b) with the name boot.elf, as well as all the files that comes in the Dev2Installv11.zip pack
2.- In the ps2 install the pendrive then boot ULaunch (using any method) and then run DEV2I.ELF that is in the PenDrive. You must follow the instructions that appear on the screen to install the boot.elf (Hdloader) to the HDD.
3.- Boot the console with DEV2 mode and everything should work.

In case people checking this thread haven't read already, romz (the developer) is back and working on it again. Just check his post. Although he won't be working on it as intensely as he was previously.
