I have one doubt: Is the Select and Right button suppose to not function while in DMA modes? because i tested in MDMA0 and they stop functioning.
Using: HDL 0.8b

yes, only mdma modes disables right and select, udma not
Nice work
just a thought, would it be possible to place a splash screen at the very start of HDL loading, showing the button layer for DMA selection and waiting a button press from the user?
like this no need of delay before button press ^_^;
It's possible but who would want to press a button always when HDL starts as the default mode works for most of the games.
not baddidn't thought about this.
well so why not have only the splash screen when keeping pressing any button at launch. then from 1st splash screen choosing the correct dma button press ^_^
of cours having this as an option toggle when patching for people to choose exactly their needs.
08b for macos x

my question is if hdloader has evolved this far so why cant itit patch the ide drive in memory to make it look like a sony offical drive this would fix a lot of issue with the games
i know i might sound crazybut i think it can be done
hdloader was never officially supported by sony in the first place, the only official support for the hdd was with FFXI and some games such as RE which you could partially install parts of the game to reduce loading times...I doubt patching using the atad.irx would help...I think the atad.irx is already used to recognize the hdd while using hdloader...Originally Posted by jetlee

Zer0-X, i like the new option to exclude UDMA/MDMA modes. Actually wich games needs a different UMDA/MDMA mode?
Could somebody please give me an example of the DOS command? What is the most usual usage? I have v5-7, modchip, loading off Mem card. Thank you.
