i've patched the unpacked HDLoader.elf with hdlpatch 0.6d and than packed it with ps2-packer 0.4.4 full.
So, i've renamed the elf packed in boot2.elf (setting the LBA to 12231) to install it on O2mod into memory card an created the .cdx image.
The installation is ok but when I start the HDLoader with L1 i got BLACK SCREEN!!!
The elf file packed is righr because i have used it successfully with DMS...

For some reason, when I pack the patched HDLoader ELF with PS2-Packer 0.4.4, all I get is a black screen when I try to start HDLoader. (I'm using the Independence Memory Card exploit)
All is fine, however, when I pack the ELF with PS2-Packer 0.2.
Just had a thought, just looked over at the NFO site and they have the new patched version of "HDA" available for their users, effectivly not giving credit to crazyc and zero-x!! It would be hilarious if in the next release of the HDL patch that you put some kind of message on the main window or just when you press select that says NFO Sucks! or patch credit goes to crazyc and zero-x of ps2scene.org or something.
I just dont think its right they steal your patches and re-apply HDA skins and say to their users OOOH Lego Star Wars works now goto our download section and get the latest version of HDA!!

Yea true, but it would be funny for their users to see something like "NFO has stolen this patch without due credit, come to ps2scene.org for REAL scene progress" either that or it would stop them from stealing crazyc and zero-x patches lol!
Just a small piece of well-prepared code that scans the memory for evidence that the machine was booted from a disc with Crazy Taxi identification (or any mentioning of HDAdvance) and *snap* something funny happens. :)

But seriously maybe that would be going too far as the scene is supposed to be for all, but NFO not giving credit to you guys is wrong, so having a little message like that would force them to give you guys the credit you deserve or force their users to stay with HDA 0.6 while we months later enjoy HDL 0.7/0.8/0.9/ ;-)
