That's true, and deplorable, but it doesn't change the legal standing. When it comes to HDLoader/ToxicOS, Sjeep owns that code and has the right to choose what to do with it. Note that I'm not defending his choice of support methods (or lack thereof :(). I'm just describing how things stand.

if it wasn't for EP, dlanor, crazy and xero (and in some cases even HDA) even their previous customers would have been entirely left in the cold with respect to toxic's "features".
I agree completely. As a freeware homebrew project this could really 'fly', and would achieve far better compatibility results. But unfortunately I don't think this can ever happen. It's up to Sjeep, and I don't think he'll do it.
All I can really say at this point is: share the source, these guys could do alot more with it than even the original coder (since it seems there is likely 0% interest in updating it even for paying DMS4 customers).
Indeed, and while I know some people detest any kind of scene-related money-making schemes, we really should try to see things from his own viewpoint too. He saw a chance to make a living out of his hobby, of doing what he loved and getting paid for it too. Can you really blame him...?
actually, in a way we are defending sjeep's actions as being pretty much the only thing he could do to make money from the "scene" wrather than get sued by the "lawyers"
I don't agree with some of his choices (as hinted further above), but I do understand most of them.
:) Hehe, actually I don't think Zer0-X is very 'naggable', so he'll add new changes when he feels that new solutions are both needed and practical to implement. Trying to nag him into doing anything at all before then is probably just a waste of time...
, but sure thing Ombra, lets get back to nagging them for "when is there another update", that always seems to "help"
