is there anyway I can know if the version I have is already patched/hacked or whatever?
And, is there anywhere I can get that HDLoader? buying or downloading? (preferrably downloading =])
(The HDL I have is burned and came from a place where they installed the HD for me, because I thought It'd be way more complicated than it really is =/)

another heads up
to say brilliant
and thanks
if it can, i don't see how. if you're familiar at all with borland builder you know that it is a bulky compiler that makes really simple and nice gui's. there are also tons of authors that write commercial and freeware 'components' that do automated gui stuff. the 3rd party components are other source code that i had to pay big $ for (cumulatively). and all the project files (which contain form data and code for the gui) will simply not compile without these.Originally Posted by crazyc
the gui code is nothing amazing at all, just a bunch of checks for button presses etc (like any other gui code).
so i guess that's my long answer for a short "i don't think so"![]()
the ability to disable the "copyright" pages from displaying in HDloader ?
The new Patcher is a great work, but I have two suggestions, which could be perhaps implemented:
- Version-Number Change
Please change the Version-Number to 0.8 for a better Overview- LogFile Creation
When Patching it would be great, if LogFile will be created with an Overview of the applied Patches and MD5/CRC of the Files.
@by3: i did not notice any copyright notices at all here, this is after formatting a fresh HDD with winHIIP. does it really matter though? one press of the X button and it never shows up again till you reformat. if it does, then there's something wrong with your HDD.
impressive!
anyone can tell me something about new games supported? my biggest hope is fahrenheit, but ssx on tour would be nice 2.
outside of any games affected by the mdma patch, there is no difference whatsoever from the command line tool hdlpatch 0.7c. this is only that tool with a gui interface and some other funtionality. the only additional patches in this are the child proof patches. and those patches have nothing at all to do with game compatibility.
about the new/old dvd9 fixes.
what are some dvd9 games are they?
i am guessing GT4 is one of the old dvd9 fix, or not... i don't know.
