something with your set up is causing the hdl prog to crap out. need more specifics of your pc-related set up.
Heres my IDE Setup
Primary Master: 120 GB PC HDD (2 Partitions)
Primary Slave :PS2 HDD
Secondary Master: DVD ROM Drive
Secondary Slave: CDROM Drive
RUnnin Win XP Pro
Anything else?
Does Hdl_dump recognize your ps2 hd? and what version of Hdd utility are you using? and last but not least what size is the ps2 drive and is it formatted? does Hdd utility actually run? or do you get that error on startup?
this only occurs when i try to rip crazy taxi to pc hdd. i have sucessfully copied other games to the ps2 hdd using this utility. my ps2 hdd is 60 GB Maxtor

i think that only occurs when copying from hdloader. but i am tryin to copy using hdl dump to pc hdd.
