HDL_Dump problems - Please help
HDL_Dump problems - Please help –

First off, I run Windows 2000, so using HDL_DUMB is out of the question
(why would anyone write an XP-only windows executable???)
The CLI version is giving me problems. I have an ISO file that it won't 'read' the info from. Whenever I try "hdl_dump cdvd_info d:\swb.iso" i get a
'Partition not found' error.
There is poor (read: almost none) documentation on hdl_dump, so I'm unsure as to what could be causing my error. The ISO was ripped using DVD Decrypter, and then rebuilt (after editing the system.cnf file) with MagicISO.
The version of HDL dump I am using is 0.73. The documentation *claims* that .iso files are compatible, but that hasn't been my experience yet.
Suggestions?

Get Sysinternals' Filemon, monitor hdl_dump's activity and send a log to the developer along with a complete command-line.

Thanks for the reply. I inadvertently figured it out. Either Magic ISO or ISO Buster does something funky to the ISO file. Replacing the system.cnf file using the two of those rendered the ISO un-readable by hdl_dump.
I tried the exact same replacement using UltraIso and everything went smoothly. I got the game (Star Wars Battlefront) onto the hard drive and running successfully. It sucks that it took me half a day to figure out how to do it. The stickied 'tutorials' on this message board are just download links that barely explain anything and documentation is practially non-existant. The pieces of info I did find didn't have any information about what to do when there is an error (or why there was an error).
I suppose I got what i paid for, though. heh.
