hdl_dumb or hdl_dump GUI?
hdl_dumb or hdl_dump GUI? –

I've heard many people slate bogomi's hdl_dump GUI, but I've been using V 1.1.1 for ages and never had a problem, unlike winhiip.
I've heard people say hdl_dumb is better, but I've just been using v 0.8.1 and I don't really see any advantages. They both seem god and easy to use.
Why is one better than the other?

Well, for me, it's sheer esthetics (HDL_Dumb looks nice and clean, LordBoGami's GUI is bloated and the PS font sucks) and the simple fact that I don't want a useless installer clutter my system, so I prefer HDL_Dumb (still using 0.8.0 since 0.8.1 isn't official) over any alternative. Plus, HDL_Dumb is only 48 KB in size (LordBoGami is almost 1 MB).
I've had tons of problems with WinHIIP not transferring ISOs correctly and rendering partitions useless, so it doesn't even come into consideration for me anymore.

I agree about winhiip, that program was pathetic, deleting perfectly working games as bad partitions without even prompting. Awful program.
Fair comments about hdl dumb, but I've actually noticed a big advantage of lord bogomi's, and that's job queue and shut down PS2.
Seeing as I usually transfer games before I go to bed, I want the prog to shut down the PS2 when it's done.
